We have a homemade exposure unit in the house courtesy of Stephen McKenzie! Our first adventure with this new equipment is an exploration of cyanotypes, a photographic printing process that gives a cyan-blue print, referred to as blueprints. Come out to Print Club next Wednesday and learn all about Cyanotypes with local artist Colleen Gutwein. She will be sharing some of her recent work and then giving a demonstration of the process. Afterwards, there will be prepared paper for participants to explore the process. Please bring transparencies, large photographic negatives, and/or plant material to use as stencils for creating imagery.
